Have you ever been to any celebrations in rural mexico?

I spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve here in México with my host family. New Year’s is a bit different. They don’t have the same tradition we have in the US of the lovers’ kiss but everyone does share a hug.

Do you regret going to rural mexico?

No, I am learning a lot and seeing a lot. Of course, it is hard at time to be away from family and friends, but it a very rich experience and totally worth it.

Here at my school, we have laptops, In the schools in Mexico do they have their own laptops?

In my community, it is pretty uncommon for people to have their own individual computers. There may be a 1 or 2 desktop computers in each school.

Just like the US, it depends what part of Mexico you are in. Here in Huimilpan, it is dry and HOT.
